UX Design; User Testing
The first major evolution of Leadpages’s core platform, Funnels focused on creating more dynamic marketing experiences, tapping into deeper analytics, and helping to identify opportunities for contingency plans.
Leadpages had made its name by creating a SAAS platform that helped clients quickly opt-in to new offers, promotions, or educational experiences. But as businesses began demanding more than a “one-click opt-in” experience, Leadpages looked to Funnels to help marketers do more, and begin to optimize their marketing efforts to capture more clients.
With the majority of our client base being solopreneurs who were not experts in marketing (which is why they bought our software), our initial release was planned around a selection of pre-defined funnels. This allowed our clients to begin to start optimizing faster, with analytics surfaced directly in the published funnel.
Additionally, we wanted to leverage all existing integrations that a marketer already has in place, everything from Mailchimp to Stripe, and do so in a way that if the system detected certain elements (such as a button) on a page, all a marketer has to do is select the integration pairing, and the system will do the rest for you.
