Overview

Funnels were the first major evolution of Leadpages’s core platform, helping to begin the process of creating more dynamic marketing experiences, tap into deeper analytics to learn where they are losing clients, and look for ways to create contingency plans should a client choose to opt out.

Leadpages had made its name by creating software that helped clients quickly opt-in to new offers, promotions, or oppportunities. But as businesses began looking to do more than a one-click opt-in landing page experience, Leadpages looked to Funnels to help marketers do more, and begin to optimize their marketing efforts to capture more clients.

While linking and branching pages is a huge part of creating funnels, surfacing relevant analytics to marketers was even more important—to best understand where clients are falling off, and take steps to optimize.

Additionally, we wanted to leverage all existing integrations that marketer already has in place, everything from Mailchimp to Stripe, and do so in a way that if the system detected certain elements (such as a button) on a page, all a marketer has to do is select the integration pairing, and the system will do the rest for you.

Unfortunately I was unable to see this project through to the end due to restructuring within the firm.
